Stitches and No No's

Since Taylor's surgery she has had to wear arm restraints which the hospital staff call 'no no's.' These are to keep the baby from getting at their stitches after surgery. They are definately a nessecity for Taylor because even before she was born she always had her fingers in her mouth. This is what we were dredding the most going into her surgery just because we had seen in the past how mad she gets when she can't get to her fingers. The no no's, however, have not stopped her from trying to get to her fingers. In the process she rubs the no no's up against her stitches, and since her steri strips from surgery have already fallen off this caused a bit of a problem. Her incision was starting to split ever so slightly so we decided to tape it back up again to hopefully prevent further damage. Her follow up appointment is on Friday so hopefully when we go to that they won't say that permanent damage has been done because of this.

Side note: Taylor is discovering her feet and for the first time today she played with some of the toys on her exersaucer which I thought was very impressive! other than that all is pretty normal. Tonight is Trav's last nnight of work so i'm excitid for that!

Sooo tired... goodnight!
